As part of our annual Xmas giveback, this year 2021, Dorah Single Mothers’ Foundation partnered with four organizations and companies to support families of single mothers this Christmas season. These organizations included; Pelletier Teenage Mothers Foundation, Stress Free Investment Club, Operation One Project, and Bravo shoes.
DSMF started a fundraising campaign in November reaching out to friends, colleagues, and family members to raise resources for the xmas giveback hampers. We were overwhelmed by the support we received from different parts of the world. We want to say thank you to everyone that extended a helping hand to enable us have a successful give back.
We distributed 100 basins to single mothers from Kawempe division from both Kalule zone and Kawempe A.
The Christmas hamper comprised of food stuffs like rice, posho, beans, sugar, blue band, salt, match boxes and washing soap.
